Knife sharpening around Morisset
The southern end of the lake is our longest run but one of our most regular — from the workshop at Arcadia Vale we come down the western shore through Dora Creek to Morisset, Bonnells Bay and out across the peninsula to the acreage blocks at Mandalong.
Every knife is sharpened on a slow, water-cooled wheel with a fixed-angle jig, then hand-finished on a leather honing wheel — the steel never overheats, so the edge holds.
Door-to-door pickup and return
We collect from your door anywhere in postcode 2264 — flat $15 fee, 5-knife minimum, typically 1–2 days end to end. Part of our Lake Macquarie pickup service.

Plenty of 2264 is acreage and semi-rural, so southern runs carry more than kitchen knives: garden shears, secateurs, axes and chisels all ride along at the heavy-blade rate, sharpened on the same water-cooled wheel so the temper survives.

Per knife it's $15 standard (chef's, santoku, paring, utility, fishing, hunting & pocket knives, scissors), $20 heavy (meat cleavers, machetes, axes, garden shears, chisels) and $30 premium (Japanese single-bevel, ceramic, exotic steels), plus the flat $15 pickup fee — no postage at all.
