Knife sharpening at the top of the lake
The northern crown of the lake — Speers Point, Boolaroo, Booragul, Teralba and around to Marmong Point — sits neatly between our western and eastern runs, so postcode 2284 pickups batch fast.
Blades are sharpened slow and wet: water-cooled wheel, fixed-angle jig, leather finish. The factory temper stays in the steel, so the edge stays in the blade.
Door-to-door pickup and return
We collect and return across postcode 2284 — flat $15 fee, 5-knife minimum, typically 1–2 days end to end. Part of our Lake Macquarie pickup service.

Family blocks a specialty
This is family-kitchen country, and the classic 2284 order is the whole block in one go: chef's, santoku, utility, paring and the kitchen scissors — which comfortably clears the minimum on its own.
Park-run picnic knives, camping gear and the shed's hatchet are all welcome in the same batch.
Run a café, club kitchen or food business locally? We do recurring sharpening for commercial kitchens — reach out through the contact page and we'll sort a schedule that suits your service.
